How it started

One taste changed the conversation.

Scott had been making his Fresno pepper glaze for years. One day, he brought some over for Lana and Chuck to try. He wanted to know what they thought—and whether it might be something they could share with more people.

They tasted a glaze with a lot of possibilities. It could bring something new to a familiar meal, give a sauce in the fridge a different direction, or get people around the table asking, “What did you put on this?”

That kitchen-table conversation became Cowboy Pete’s Treats: a family business built around good flavor, good company, and the joy of making food your own.
